Betsy visits Linda touring downtown Bennettsville SC

February 11, 2018 Betsy is gathering Chi for
The 2018 T'aiChi Chih Teacher Conference!

We will had time to fill ourselves with chi around town in Bennettsville, SC


 Here is the community center sign where Linda teaches T'ai Chi Chih.

When Linda was growing up in Bennettsville,
 it was the National Guard Armory. 
Linda remembers going with her Daddy 
to the Father Daughter Girl Scout Dance there. 
Now the dance is T'ai Chi Chih! Good Energy!



We went shopping in downtown. The architecture is lovely!

practices T'ai Chi Chih in the cute little pocket area.

Here at the Civic Centere, Linda has bricks for 
her parents, herself and her longtime furry children.


So graetful for the spirit of CHI from our T'ai Chi Chih Community to hold our hearts together in joy through the all the days of reaching in growth and returning to healing. Looking forward in hope to see you at the 2018 T'ai Chi Chih Teacher Conference!!!

December 8, 2017 Betsy is gathering Chi for The 2018 T'aiChi Chih Teacher Conference! Greetings from Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ. Ho-Ho-Kus Seven letters all in a row, Three are in caps, and four are low. Add two hyphens, they must be there Or our Ho-Ho-Kus would not be rare. Rare indeed, is this little town in northern New Jersey, home of Wendy Statuto, a fellow TCC teacher. The land was first inhabited by the Lenni Lenape Indians, whose name means “original people.”  It wasn’t until 1662 when the first white man came to own property.  Legend has it that the indians offered their friendship to these first settlers inviting them to live with them and helping them build their dwellings.  After hundreds of years, I could feel the Chi that was generated from this town’s very beginning. But arriving here was not without a little excitement, as I found myself surrounded by two collies and a little pup (Mark and Wendy’s new little rescue, Finley).  I thought I might be in trouble

The Tale of Ben and Betsy

The Tale of Ben and Betsy November 27, 2018 I’m sure that you are well versed in the history of this great nation of ours. What you may not know is this... Benjamin Franklin and Betsy Ross were close friends.  They had both traveled abroad in their youth and been introduced to a powerful and health-promoting practice called “T’ai Chi Chih”. As you can imagine, the founding fathers of our country had many long, bori ng meetings. During a break in one of these meetings, Ben went outside to boost his energy with a few rounds of Joyous Breath. At the same time, Betsy was taking a break from her hard work as a seamstress and was delighted to see someone else practicing the familiar movements. From that day on, Ben and Betsy traveled all over to experience the energy they felt when they practiced TCC. In fact, the term B&B developed from the initials of these companions rooming with friends on their travels and only later came to be known as Bed & Breakfasts. Here
