Ben visits Denise Bussman in Madison, WI

January 11-12, 2018 Ben is gathering Chi for
The 2018 T'aiChi Chih Teacher Conference!


1.11.2018 – TCC teacher, Denise Bussman, welcomed Ben to frigid, Madison, Wisconsin and thanked him for bringing warm, 50 degree temps! He absorbed much Chi as he observed my TCC class, held at the Waunakee Village Center, in the Village of Waunakee – the only Waunakee in the world!


1.12.2018 – Ben and I traveled to downtown Madison, to visit the famous UW Center For Healthy Minds, home of the acclaimed Dr. Richard Davidson, whose brain-based research was highlighted at last year’s TCC Conference in Dr. David Parrish’s presentation: “The Brain on TCC”. Wow! Talk about an opportunity to be filled with Chi!





1.12.2018 – Ben and I completed our visit in downtown Madison, with a trip to the State Capitol Building where Ben posed on the steps to the Capitol for a photo-op in -20 below wind chill. A hearty soul that Ben!

December 8, 2017 Betsy is gathering Chi for The 2018 T'aiChi Chih Teacher Conference! Greetings from Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ. Ho-Ho-Kus Seven letters all in a row, Three are in caps, and four are low. Add two hyphens, they must be there Or our Ho-Ho-Kus would not be rare. Rare indeed, is this little town in northern New Jersey, home of Wendy Statuto, a fellow TCC teacher. The land was first inhabited by the Lenni Lenape Indians, whose name means “original people.”  It wasn’t until 1662 when the first white man came to own property.  Legend has it that the indians offered their friendship to these first settlers inviting them to live with them and helping them build their dwellings.  After hundreds of years, I could feel the Chi that was generated from this town’s very beginning. But arriving here was not without a little excitement, as I found myself surrounded by two collies and a little pup (Mark and Wendy’s new little rescue, Finley).  I thought I might be in trouble

The Tale of Ben and Betsy

The Tale of Ben and Betsy November 27, 2018 I’m sure that you are well versed in the history of this great nation of ours. What you may not know is this... Benjamin Franklin and Betsy Ross were close friends.  They had both traveled abroad in their youth and been introduced to a powerful and health-promoting practice called “T’ai Chi Chih”. As you can imagine, the founding fathers of our country had many long, bori ng meetings. During a break in one of these meetings, Ben went outside to boost his energy with a few rounds of Joyous Breath. At the same time, Betsy was taking a break from her hard work as a seamstress and was delighted to see someone else practicing the familiar movements. From that day on, Ben and Betsy traveled all over to experience the energy they felt when they practiced TCC. In fact, the term B&B developed from the initials of these companions rooming with friends on their travels and only later came to be known as Bed & Breakfasts. Here
