The 2018 T'aiChi Chih Teacher Conference!

Betsy arrived to visit Dorene Krause in Loveland Park, New Jersey, surprised to see SNOW on the ground!
First thing in the morning we hopped in the car to attend T'ai Chi Chih Class! 



I sat in stillness and mediated while waiting for stidents to arrive... excitement and joy bubbling up from with in!

I practiced with the class from this lovely vantage point on the fireplace mantel!

The I quickly set off again as Dorene was leaving town! We had such a nice visit like good friends always do regardless of how long it has been or how much time we have together
...it is all joy!!!

And I am bring this joy to conference this summer in Philidelphia!!!

Add two hyphens, they must be there Or our Ho-Ho-Kus would not be rare. Rare indeed, is this little town in northern New Jersey, home of Wendy Statuto, a fellow TCC teacher. The land was first inhabited by the Lenni Lenape Indians, whose name means “original people.”  It wasn’t until 1662 when the first white man came to own property.  Legend has it that the indians offered their friendship to these first settlers inviting them to live with them and helping them build their dwellings.  After hundreds of years, I could feel the Chi that was generated from this town’s very beginning.     February 2, 2018 Betsy is gathering Chi for The 2018 T'aiChi Chih Teacher Conference! Thank goodness Betsy was too sleepy to get up and go to my TCC class Wednesday morning.    After class, coming down the staircase I had a really bad fall.   If Betsy had been along, she would have been smushed so flat we would never have been able to fill her with chi.  My elbows were killing me, but nothing else hurt at that moment.   I was afraid to move for a few minutes though. The only thing I remember about the fall was stepping to what I thought was a landing on the stairs (I have no depth perception .) and feeling nothing but air beneath my feet.   My next awareness was landing sprawled out in the lobby on my back and my head banging on the hard tile floor. According to my student who was right behind me, I missed the last two steps down to the landing, fell onto it, bounced off a huge ceramic planter and then basically somersaulted down the last 4 steps to the lobby that wer
