Fort Missoula...


...established as a permanent military post in 1877 in response to requests from local townspeople and settlers for protection in the event of a conflict with western Montana Indian tribes.  


The Historical Museum at Fort Missoula was founded in 1975 to preserve and interpret the history of Missoula County and Wesrtern Montana with mphasis on education, recreation, and cultural enrichment.

Add two hyphens, they must be there Or our Ho-Ho-Kus would not be rare. Rare indeed, is this little town in northern New Jersey, home of Wendy Statuto, a fellow TCC teacher. The land was first inhabited by the Lenni Lenape Indians, whose name means “original people.”  It wasn’t until 1662 when the first white man came to own property.  Legend has it that the indians offered their friendship to these first settlers inviting them to live with them and helping them build their dwellings.  After hundreds of years, I could feel the Chi that was generated from this town’s very beginning. Betsy changes her travel itinerary

February 26, 2018 Betsy is gathering Chi for The 2018 T'ai Chi Chih Teacher Conference! Greetings from Betsy who anticipated an international destination on her travels this month but alas found that the Chi had other plans. So Betsy is adjusting her itinerary enroute and she is on her way again today! Betsy is going with the Flow. When the currents of life move you there is wisdom in acceptance. My Daddy always spoke of a angel watching over him and gave me this one who hangs from my driver's visor. He said the tire that flew off the trailer or the engine trouble that delayed our travel was in our best interest to avoid unforeseen calamity. So we learned to let go of expectations and to accept that our vacation is exactly as it is meant to be. Every day is to be celebrated. Ben has been MIA in the Postal Mail

February 10, 2018 Ben is gathering Chi for The 2018 T'aiChi Chih Teacher Conference! Ironic that the man who began as the first Postmaster General got lost in the mail!!! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benjamin_Franklin When I practice Light at the Top of the Head I often consider those wrist circles up there as cleaning the inside and outside of a window. I let go of all the fog and can see clearly the road my life is on at this time in the journey. Then when I reach the wrist circles for Light at the Temple, I clear the tangle of my plans and expectations that I have about where I am headed and how far along I should be right now. Each pause in the stillness reminds me to just be... be okay with exactly where I am right here present with today.
